Not Attending Next Year?  Let Us Know. If your plans change and you will not be attending Whitman MS, please complete the district Online Not Attending Next Year Form. Online Elective Registration Steps

Current Students Going Into Grades 7 & 8:
Registration Timeline: April 21 – May 8, 2026

Students Need to Follow the Steps Below

  1. Students Log onto to your Source Account (student account) You will not be able to reach the Registration pages if you log in using a Parent/Guardian Login.
  2. Select “Class Registration” (left hand menu) to view the Course Registration home screen for the student’s grade level.

  • Talk to your current Grade Level Counselor if you have questions about electives or what electives you should sign up for the school year.
  • If you have questions about the registration worksheet or the registration process, please contact the school registrar Elaine Llandover: elllandover@seattleschools.org.

Important Reminders

  • 7th Graders have the choice of taking Math 7 or Math 7/8 Compacted (refer to course descriptions).
  • 8th Graders can take 2 math classes, Math 8 and Algebra 1 (refer to course descriptions) If you opt to take 2 math classes, you will lose an elective. If you want to add a second math class, please email Assistant Principal, Leanne Dunlap; lmdunlap@seattleschools.org
  • Primary Elective Placements are not guaranteed because of class sizes, teacher availability and budget constraints. Therefore, all students MUST select Alternate Electives.
  • Alternates MUST be different from your primary requests. Duplicate requests can cause an error and will delete both the Primary and Alternative requests.
