School Tours & SPS School Choice Info for the School Year 24-25
SPS Admissions Fair & Open House Jan. 27
To help families prepare to enroll new students, learn more about option schools, and talk with staff about Seattle Public Schools (SPS) programs and services, they are hosting an informational event on Sat, Jan. 27! Join us to ask questions about the upcoming school year, learn more about Open Enrollment for School Choice, and the many outstanding programs and services available for SPS students. The SPS Admissions Fair is Jan. 27, from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the John Stanford Center, 2445 3rd Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98134.

SPS Enrollment Process 24-25
Students are assigned to their attendance area school based on where they live. Families may request a different school through School Choice. Refer to the district Student School Assignment for more information.
School Choice Opens Feb 1, 2024
The School Choice process for 2024-25 will open on February 1, 2024. Visit the district School Choice and Open Enrollment page for district enrollment information.
Enrollment Key Dates
- January 2, 2024: New registrations for Enrollment for the 2024-25 school year begins. New students to SPS must register before participating in Open Enrollment.
- January, 27, 2024: District Admissions Fair and SPS Open House from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- February 1 – February 29: School Choice priority applications will be accepted (tiebreakers apply).
- March 1 – May 31: School Choice late applications will be accepted (tiebreakers will not apply).
- April 16: Open Enrollment results will be available online.
Open House 24-25 Info for Prospective Students
Ballard High School
The Ballard HS Prospective Families Night is scheduled for Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 6 – 8 p.m. Information about Shadowing and more about the school is posted on the school website.
The Center School
The Center School will be hosting an Open House for prospective students and families on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Ingraham High School
Our Open House / Information Session for incoming or prospective students will be on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 7 p.m. Meet Principal Floe, hear about the IB Program, and meet our wonderful teachers.
Lincoln High School
Our Open House on January 25, 2024 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. is for Prospective Students is for current 8th graders that will be freshman in the Fall of 2024 only.
Middle College High School
Prospective Families can visit our sites at North Seattle College on February 1, 2024 from 6 – 7 p.m. and Seattle University from 6 – 7 p.m. on February 8, 2024.
Nova High School
Information will be posted as it becomes available.
Alan T. Sugiyama
High school students enrolled in Seattle Public Schools can transfer to Alan T. Sugiyama at South Lake at any time during the school year.
