    As information becomes available for high school open houses and tours, it will be posted on the Whitman web and in the PTSA newsletter under “High School Open Houses and Tours”

    8th Grade Announcements


    8th graders will be able to register for 9th grade classes at the following times:

    Ballard:  2020-2021 Course Selection Workshops  April 21st & 23rd

    Ingraham:  Ingraham counselors on-site all day at Whitman on April 23rd to register students assigned to Ingraham. 

    Students and families will receive high school information at their homes the week before or during Spring Break. Information regarding the registration process for other schools will be posted as available.  More information, please see Ms. Fraley

    UW will be offering summer camps for middle school students.   Students can explore a passion, career interest or try something new.    Courses include: computer programming, gaming, science, fiber arts, film studies, mosaic arts, writers’ workshop and more.    Check the courses out at SUMMER-CAMP.UW.EDU

    Need help with summer camp costs:  check out the Assistance League Summer Enrichment Scholarship Program. Assistance League Summer Enrichment Scholarship Program or see Ms. Fraley in the counseling office

    Assistance League of Seattle is offering students the opportunity to apply for a $500 summer enrichment scholarship for the purpose of attending a summer program.  Summer programs include but are not limited to leadership building, art, music, computer science, cooking or outdoor/overnight camps.  All students between grades 6-11 are eligible to apply.  Students can apply now and applications must be turned in by March 10, 2020.  No exceptions to the deadline.  For more information check out Enrichment-Scholarship-Application/ or see Ms. Fraley or Mr. Hernandez.  Great opportunity to learn something new!!

    The UW Women's center is offering a Summer Bridge program design to introduce incoming High School Students to Stem careers and encourages them pursue college after High Scho
