SPS Admissions Fair Feb. 1

To help families prepare to enroll new students, learn more about option schools, and talk with staff about Seattle Public Schools (SPS) programs and services, they are hosting an informational event on Feb. 1, 2025 Join us to ask questions about the upcoming school year, learn more about Open Enrollment for School Choice, and the many outstanding programs and services available for SPS students. The SPS Admissions Fair is Feb. 1, from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the John Stanford Center, 2445 3rd Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98134.

SPS Enrollment Process 25-26

Students are assigned to their attendance area school based on where they live. Families may request a different school through School Choice. Refer to the district Student School Assignment for more information.

School Choice Opens Feb 1, 2024

The School Choice process for 2024-25 will open on February 1, 2024. Visit the district School Choice and Open Enrollment page for district enrollment information.

Enrollment Key Dates

January 6 New registrations for 2025-26 school year begins.
February 1 Admissions Fair will be held at the John Stanford Center.
February 1 – February 28 Open Enrollment School Choice priority applications will be accepted (tiebreakers apply).
March 1 – May 31 School Choice late applications will be accepted (NOT eligible for tiebreakers).
April 22 Open Enrollment results will be available online.
June 3 – August 31 Non-resident applications will be accepted.
August 31 Waitlists for the 2025-26 school year will dissolve.

Ingraham High School

Ingraham High School will be hosting information nights for prospective families.

If you need more information, see Ms. Fraley in the counseling office.

January 29 at 7 p.m. Open House for prospective families. Meet at 7 p.m. in the Ingraham Auditorium for a brief introduction by Principal Martin Floe and parent groups. Teachers will be available for questions about curriculum. If you are interested in detailed information about the IB program, please attend one of our IB Info sessions on 1/23 (in person) or 2/5 (virtual).
- January 23 at 7 p.m. International Baccalaureate information night for 8th – 10th grade families. This meeting is in person at Ingraham High School in the math forum. The IB Coordinators are holding two information sessions for families who are interested in learning more about Ingraham’s IB programs – both the long-running Diploma Program and the newly-added IB Career-Related Program. Both programs are for students in the last two years of high school and offer different ways to be an IB student at Ingraham. See virtual meeting option on February 5. Both sessions will cover the same information, with limited time for questions afterward.
- February 5 at 7 p.m.: Virtual International Baccalaureate information night for 8th – 10th grade families. Via Microsoft Teams.

Lincoln High School

Our Open House on January 23, 2025 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. is for Prospective Students is for current 8th graders that will be freshman in the Fall of 2025 only.
