Dear Whitman Families and Staff,

We are experiencing a partial power outage at your school, which is impacting heating and lighting throughout the building. Seattle City Light and SPS staff are on campus working to restore power.

Classes at Whitman Middle School will be canceled for today, Wednesday, Dec. 11.

We realize the closure today was unanticipated and apologize for the inconvenience. Seattle City Light expects the problem to be resolved by the end of the day. In the event we must cancel school on Thursday, we will send an update this afternoon.
