Welcome Wildcats! Each student is encouraged to read at least one Wildcats Read book per year! Wildcats Read books are selected to appeal to a wide range of reading abilities & interests.

Not all books should be read by all students. Happy Reading! ~ Ms. Macer

Refer to the below tabs below an array of curated books that will be highlighted all year. They feature diverse topics, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), BIPoC authors and protagonists, meaningful messages along with great entertainment. They are meant to be mirrors and windows, so that we can learn, see into others’ lives, & make sense of the world.

Age & grade recommendations are a starting point with many options for free choice. Keep in mind that you can put a book down if it seems too mature, scary, is too frustrating, or just does not feel right.
