Basketball Tryouts Are Coming Up!

• Girls Basketball Tryouts: Dec. 10 & 12 from 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the Whitman Gymnasium.
  • It is recommended that you bring basketball shoes, athletic attire and a water bottle for both tryouts.
• Boys Basketball Tryouts: Dec. 16 & 18 from 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the Whitman Gymnasium.
  • It is recommended that you bring basketball shoes, athletic attire and a water bottle for both tryouts.

Note: The Holiday Concert is also happening on Dec. 12. If students are involved in the concert, please let the coaches know and attend the first day of tryouts.

Basketball Practices

Girls practices will be from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Boys practices 4-6 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays. Practices to start after December 9. Games will be on Saturday.

Registration on Final Forms Due

All students must be cleared to participate through FinalForms before they can attend tryouts. If you have any questions, email Janice Runner at jmrunner@seattleschools.org

Sports Registration On Final Forms

Whitman Middle school is now on Final Forms, an online system. Final Forms allows you to complete and sign forms from your computer, tablet, or mobile device.

Final Forms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning you will never need to enter the same information twice! Final Forms pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students. You may log in any time to update information including emergency medical contacts and information. You will be required to sign your forms once per year and anytime you make an update.

A parent must create their Final Forms account first before your student is able to create their account. We ask ALL Parents/Guardians of athletes to use Final Forms (excluding Club Cross Country). In order to participate in Whitman sports, BEFORE TRYOUTS, Final Forms must be completed. Thank you for your assistance in streamlining processes, boosting compliance and increasing safety at Whitman Middle School.

Physicals

• All students need a doctor-signed physical uploaded to Final Forms before they can participate in sports.
• Parents need to upload a current signed physical to Final Forms.  If Whitman has your student’s physical from last year, please email jmrunner@seattleschools.org for a copy.
