Whitman MS Favorite Book List
Below is a list of some of the favorites books that students read at Whitman Middle School.
Wildcats Read 22-23
Below is a link to an array of curated books that will be highlighted all year at WMS. They feature diverse topics, BIPoC authors and protagonists, meaningful messages along with great entertainment.
They are meant to be mirrors and windows, so that we can learn, see into others’ lives, & make sense of the world. Age & grade recommendations are a starting point with many options for free choice.
Keep in mind that you can put a book down if it seems too mature, scary, is too frustrating, or just does not feel right. Happy Reading!
