    Ballard High School 8th Grade Choices Event

    8th Grade Families, please join us on February 4, 2021 for Ballard’s asynchronous or independent 8th Grade Choices Virtual Event to learn more about Open Enrollment and hear from Ballard staff & students on why "It's Always Great To Be a Beaver!"

     Lincoln High School Virtual Event 

    For prospective students, Lincoln’s New Student Information "Night" information is posted here in the form of a series of pre-recorded videos.  The videos will cover Academics, Athletics, Activities, HCC, Special Education, ELL, Dual Language Immersion, 9th grade transition and much more.

    Alan T. Sugiyama High School

    Alan T. Sugiyama High School at South Lake is an option high school with continuous enrollment.  High school students enrolled in Seattle Public Schools can transfer to Alan T. Sugiyama at South Lake at any time during the school year. We are also enrolling rising 9th grade and current high school students for next year.     Nova High School Virtual Open House and Tour information

    Nova High School is having a Virtual Open House in January! Regular tours and orientations are every Wednesday as well.

    Come see our asynchronous Virtual Open House, and explore the resources we’ve created to help you understand Nova’s beautiful education and community. Virtual Open House includes media, interviews with staff/students/principals, and resources about Nova’s program. The Q&A’s are live events with various staff and students. Principals will be at the principal office hours as well. All counselors are welcome and encouraged to come to any of the events.

    · Open House: Thursday, January 7, 5:00 pm through Saturday, January 9, 5:00 pm
    · Family Q&A on zoom: Saturday, January 9, 5:30 - 6:30 pm
    · Principal Office Hours on zoom: Monday, January 11, 5:00 - 6:00 pm

    Regular Tours and Orientations

    Regular tours and orientations every Wednesday from 11:55 – 12.40. Students and staff are available to give an overview of Nova HS and host a Q&A session. Please call Karen Podbela in the Nova main office to register: 206-252-3500 and/or get links to any of these events.


    Middle College High School - Virtual Open House

    Option 1: JANUARY 26, 4:30 – 5:30 PM 
    Option 2: FEBRUARY 2, 6:00 – 7:00 PM 
    Both sessions contain the same information – you’ll only need to attend one session.

    MCHS is a small, cohort-based community of learners. Our program starts with 9th and 10th
    graders attending one of our small sites located on either the UW or SU campuses. Our students receive honors level education while preparing to attend full-time, enhanced Running Start in 11th and 12th grade.
    • Small class sizes approximately 1 teacher: 20 students
    • Deep exploration into content areas
    • Social justice/ethnic studies embedded into
    the program
    • On Campus Support in college classes Running Start in 11/12th grade
    • Access to university amenities while on campus
    • All students should graduate with college credits and potentially an AA degree!  

    1. Submit required documents:
    • Completed Entrance Form
    • IEP/504 (if applicable)
    • Most recent SBA levels (7th or 8th grade)
    • Discipline records
    • Attendance record for most recent completed school grading
    period – this can be printed form The Source for SPS students
    • Academic History. Can be obtained from your middle school

    3. Attend an open house and interview with SEC staff
    4. Staff will review applications and determine placement in program
    5. Families will receive notification of placement and next steps
